Installing a Free SSL certificate is very easy in FreemiumHosting. Follow the steps mentioned below to install the SSL certificate successfully.

Step 1 : Check your nameservers

You have to check if your domain points to the correct nameservers. This is a very important step.

Go to intodns.com or whois.com and check if your nameservers are pointed to these nameservers

    ns1.freemiumhosting.com
    ns2.freemiumhosting.com

**If nameservers have not been updated till now, please change your nameservers from your domain provider. Please wait 10-15 minutes minimum after changing your nameservers. If you are managing your domain with Cloudflare or any other DNS providers, make sure all of your DNS records are placed correctly.

Step 2 : Login to your Hosting’s Control Panel

    • Login to your client area by clicking here: portal.freemiumhosting.com
    • Go to ‘Services’
    • Click on your active hosting plan
    • Click on ‘Login to DirectAdmin’ button

Now you will be logged into your hosting’s control panel.

Step 3 : Install a free SSL certificate

    • Click on ‘SSL Certificates’ under the Account Manager section
    • Then you’ll be able to find a lot of options there
    • Click on ‘Get automatic certificate from ACME Provider’ option
    • Then you will be able to see a lot of options there, make sure the domain name is correct there under Common Name field.
    • Select the the Wildcard checkbox beside Common Name field
    • Click on Save button

A popup will be visible to you like that :

    Certificate and Key Saved.
Your request will run in the background. Once completed, you'll be notified in the Message System.

Congratulations! You have installed your Free SSL certificate successfully. Your confirmation message will be received in your Message box.

**Make sure to check the ‘Force SSL with https redirect’ box and click on Save button

Follow all the steps one by one, and your FREE SSL certificates will be generated successfully.
