Hello, you also might be struggling with PHP version with FreemiumHosting Free plan and this might be the only reason you are reading this.

Anyway, we have all PHP versions available in our hosting plans. The main issue is you are not able to find the right option to change it.

Follow these steps to change your PHP version :

    1. Login to your hosting’s control panel by clicking the ‘Login to DirectAdmin’ button
    2. Find ‘PHP Settings’ option under Account Manager section and click on it
    3. You will see a dropdown called ‘PHP Version’
    4. Select ‘PHP 7.2 lsphp’ if not selected by default. If your PHP version is already selected as ‘PHP 7.2 lsphp’, you can ignore this one and follow the next steps.
    5. After selecting that, click on ‘Update Version’
    6. Go back to the dashboard
    7. Now search for ‘Select PHP Version’ (PHP settings and Select PHP version is totally different options) or find this option by scrolling down to the Extra Features section
    8. Now you will be able to see ‘Current PHP Version’
    9. From the dropdown, select your required PHP version and click on ‘Apply’

That’s it. You have to follow these steps to update your PHP version correctly.
